| Chef | You’ll learn how to plan a menu for a weekend event for between four and six people, and we’ll show how and where to shop for the food and the best way to transport it, how to store food properly and hygienically. We’ll show you what you need to consider when you’re using an indoor and a camp kitchen. After than you’ll cook and serve at least one of the meals from your menu, and of course learn the best way to clear up afterwards. | Contact | ||
| Expedition Challenge 1st Weekend | – OR – Enjoy two challenging and interesting cross country hikes using map and compass skills. You also need to complete a project about the area you are visiting. This course takes two weekends to complete. | 20 – 22 February 2026 | ![]() | Scientist and Space | From the cells in our bodies to the energy fueling our homes and the stars in the night sky, we use science to find out more about the mind-boggling universe we call home. Pop on your safety goggles and get experimenting. – AND – 12 people have walked on the moon; 11 of them were Scouts. Find out about how the Earth moves round the Sun, how the Sun and the Moon affect night and day and the solar eclipse. Find out about an astronaut, and the skills they learned to become one. Learn what a satellite is and how they help us to study and protect our planet. | Contact |
| Navigator Stage 3 | Learn to navigate using a map and compass. Enjoy a long hike whilst trying not to get lost. This is an ideal badge for younger Scouts and a good introduction to Scout Pro-Badge. | Contact | ||

| 17 – 19 April 2026 | ![]() | Chef and Backwoods Cooking | A double badge weekend. Learn to cook on an open fire and also in a kitchen. Cub Scouts complete both courses in one weekend. | Contact |
| Camper | Pitch your tent, camp under canvas for 2 nights, cook a meal and learn how to make various camp gadgets. 15 nights away under canvas as a Scout is required to achieve this badge, but it is not a pre-requisite to attending the course. We do recommend that 7 nights at least have been completed to get the most out of this course. | Contact | ||
